ok, my laeger 520sx is finally just about finished. It went down to TC yesterday to get an exhaust made. And lemme be the first to say that TC is a really nice guy. And he has no problem going over things with you, actually, he told me a diff air intake solution yo use that would gimme 3 horse. but here it is, i will get more pics up later today, along with a list of what it has.

haha..i hear ya! jus need to finish up some of the electrical stuuf and i should be strait! This pipe is made to OWN from 5500 to rev. According to TC, its gunna rip arms from the midrange all the way to the top, with an *** load of torque down low. I will let u guys know, and if i see any of ya at the races, you can take it for a spin.

You'll love the four speed transmission. You will only use second and third. Some tracks you can run third only.

What's your final drive gearing? I'm using a 38 rear and 13 front. It seems just right with 18's. It was a little high for my liking with the 19's.

ohhh shattt..i forgot! It also has the mx/c tranny. 6 speed close ratio. I am running a 14 front 39 rear. I cant wait to ride this thing! Its killin me..lol

The MXC tranny is good. I think it has the same 1-4 ratios as the SX but with a 5-6 good for wide open fire roads and stuff if you ever happen to need it. Also good for some drag racing when you have some non MX trash talkers around.

The EXC trans has the super overdrive that will go 100+ mph. Not cool for MX!! :eek2:

i must be the only one curious but whats this 3 horse intake job that TC told you about??

400ex87

the way that i had my airbox setup. I used a lt500 carb boot, with a 250r airbox and airbox boot. Then brought them together with a cut 2 1/4" exhaust adapter piece. Ypu can pick one up at any auto store. I had to use this setup to make the boot go around my shock. This was b/c the way the barb points is directly at the shock pretty much. TC now wants me to use a 400ex complete intake boot b/c it is almost perfect to make the shock clearence. Then he said i can either cut 250r airbox and use the 400ex filter sticking in it. Or by the 400ex airbox. I am gunna cut the 250r airbox b/c it will work fine. It will protect the filter from the back of the box, where most of your roost is anyways, and it will allow for more airflow(from the open front). Covered with an outerwares of course. I am gettin the 3 more horse b/c it will be a shorter, less restricting system. And the cylinder like edges on the exhaust piece, even though they are very small, will obstruct the airflow. This is all according to TC. Like i said he's a very nice dude that will be willing to help anyone with anything. In fact..while he was building my exhaust someone called and he helped them out for 30 minutes! He even told the guy how his kid should be doing his holeshots! Like, in detail! I would highly recomend TC to anyone. He deff. knows his shat. I jus cant wait to get the thing runnin' tomarrow! I'll let ya know!
