drag race question.....

I have a friend coming into town in couple weeks and he will be bringing his new stock 06 yamaha yfz 450. I haven't talked to him in awhile and he dosen't know that i have a piston and cam now. He still thinks i just have a pipe , filter and jet kit but i guess i'll tell him after we race :p . Im pretty confident i will win in a straight dirt drag. I was just wondering should i expect to blow him away or will he be right beside me. I was just wanting to get some opinons so i will know how much smack to talk. We are about the same weight and have equal riding experience. My mods are listed below. I also have another friend who knows about all my mods and he will be getting the new suzuki 450 when they come out and he is serious when he says that the stock suzuki 450 will beat my 450r. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't talk to much smack.. If it was a stock '04-'05 YFZ you should be able to take him pretty easily. But from the early information I've heard, the '06 YFZ is pretty competitive with the '06 450R which has been known to beat some moderatly built '04-'05 450R's.. You might just have a good race on your hands.

I own both my 04 honda has hrc cam, 13.1 je piston, rossier exhaust, jetted, filter and some other stuff; and my 06' yfz has a pipe, filter, jetted and thats it! It will flat out smoke the honda, right off the start it puts almost three bikes on it then thats the end of it. Both bikes spin out alot but, i've switched riders tires and I still get the same problem, so don't go talking to much smack just yet!

i have an 05 450r with nmotion exhaust filter and jet kit. my buddy road it against an 06 yamaha 450 with exact same exhaust filter and then a jet kit. my buddy has bout ten pounds on that guy. the bikes were dead even all the way it just depended on who got the whole shot. my bike won a few and also lost a few. it all depends on the rider. the other guy was a competitive mx rider so he knew what he was doin.

dont dobt the yammies of any year ! they dont need or like aftermarket pistons or cams . i am a loyal honda guy .BUT the yammies are fast . I have both .
