My 2004 racher at backfires when I start it. It got some water in it about 8 months ago and I cleaned it all out. I havent benn ridiin it all that much. What could be the problem.

Probably need to clean the carb.

I'm assuming it's backfiring when you let off of the gas, correct?

If cleaning it doesn't fix it.. then try turning the air screw out a 1/4-1/2 turn to see if it makes it any better.

it does it when i give it gas.
