Thats suprising to me that such a large company producing thousands of these bikes for 7grand a piece and forget to tighten bolts.......wow:eek2:

yet again...one idiot on an assembly line, makes a whole company look bad. The bad thing is, that guys job is to sit their, all day and tighten those 2 bolts.....thats probably all he has to do, and he sucks at it lmfao

as the saying goes, it only takes one bad apple, to ruin the whole bunch

I imagine the zuki 450 will have some sort of problem like this too.

im sure it will have its handful of problems, just like any other first year quad does

yamaha and honda, IMO, have just about gotten it dead on this year, in perfecting their 450's

does it say what two bolts they left loose?

10-07-2005, 08:28 AM

They are located in the left case cover behind the starter idler gear. to fix this you need to remove the 2 bolts holding the starter idler cover on, remove the cover and idler gear. You then need to torque those bolts to 85 inch lbs.

Looks like it wouldn't be very pretty if one of those bolts got tangled up in the idler gear or down in the gear in that hole :eek2:

I wonder if anybody has actually had one of them completely fall out...I wonder what would actually happen :chinese:
