Is what people say about four wheelers, (only sprokets and tires will change your top speed) true to dirtbikes too? I am going to get and fmf fatty pipe and power core silencer for a kx125 but will that do anything? I am thinking about getting a big bore kit and i know that will but what else. I don't wanna change my rear tir, so what is the smallest sproket that will fit? I know this is mainly a fourwheeler site, but if you know please answer me i gotta blow my friend out of the water in our drag. Thanks!!

first yea a pipe and silencer would have u gain speed i would suggest a pro circuit works with a shorty silencer with race cap also u would need to jet it

second a big bore kit would be good but u dont need one to beat a 300ex or lower

third i would get 1 size bigger to a 49 tooth for better response
but all of this i use for mx racing i dont know about drag racing but it will proply help

If its a current or semicurrent 125 I can make them 154cc They are a rocket and have much better low end than 125cc . Those KXs have carbon reeds that chip easily , maybe when you get a pipe you should check the reeds. FASTWAY MOTOSPORTS
