I'm faced with a choice, both of these tires are the same price, both are 6-ply and both will be 20x10-9 in size. The are only the rears and will be going on a slightly modded 300ex. I only ride trails for fun. I want a tire that has excellent foward traction but also has great sliding ability for sliding into and out of turns, which one.

second one looks like the kenda design, i would choose that one cuz it is a proven design.

You'll like the Kenda Claw style. That top one isn't gonna let you powerslide at all.. and looks like it would slick over in sticky mud.

The bottom one, which I belive is a fast trekker? I had a set of those bandits on my 400 and they ROBBED some serious horsepower. But they take forever to wear, Alot of desert racers use them cause you can get an XC version which is kevlar lined, but I wasn't a fan. They didn't hook up very well either, but they were incredibly heavy!

bandits are too heavy, go with the klaw design.

Thanks for the help, i ordered the Kenda style, which is the fast trekker from nebraskatire.com. $78 for the pair to my door.

Those fast trekers that are shown are the 22x10x9 if you get the 20x10x9 they are a little different tread design which is better than whats pictured. I use to have a set of the 22x10x9 fast treckers on my LT250R they were a great tire but remember they are only 2 ply. The sidewalls are not very strong. Over time they didnt hold air very well either i had to put air in them everytime i rode, even though i was only riding 2 times a month. But over all they are a good tire, dont get the bandits unless you own a Banshee!

My friend had the first ones and they were junk they wouldnt bite at all when going up hills so i would say go with the second set of tires
