What would be the best a-arms to get with elka quadrate comp adj shocks: houser, burgard, leager, lonestar, or epic?
Because they are all priced within $50 dollars of each other.

Sage Baker and Joe Arrowsmith are both running Epic. They swear by them. I rode Joe's bike with Epics and Elka Quadrate Dual Adjustables, and it was SMOOTH!!

Yes, Ellis runs them as well. They are a very solid a-arm with great style and decent price.

Laeger and Lonestar.. blah! your paying extra for the name. My houser LTs were very well put together. I always liked JB racing stuff, everything I got from them is built beefy... my next 450 will have JB everything.

If they are all within 50 bucks, which they are, then how do you pay for the Lonestar or Laeger name?? :::Shakes head:::

Since Jody practically jigged up Mark's arms they are good arms, I must say.

KIDS:rolleyes:

I just see better quality for the same price coming from JB and houser... I just see nothing special about these arms for the price but hey thats my opinion.

Who you calling a kid?!:huh

Well all the us (the AZ Pros) run Lonestar, and haven't had any quality issues whatsoever..The Gen. DC4s are above most, for the price.

Most of the top 5 builders are right within 20 bucks of each other on pricing, so why the comment about seeing nothing special about them for the price you pay, if they are all the same?? And any comments on Jody pretty much copying the Lager Ball joint LT front end?

You pay extra for laegers name huh? There still cheaper then houser's. And are the only ones that use .120 wall tubing on the lower arms.

There both great a-arms but if I have a choice and there the same price, i'll pick laeger about everytime.

I would go with RP evolution if you are on a budget , Richard pelchat 4 times canadian champion builds them. he also designed the balljoints , they are not regular balljoints like LSR or the Heim type on walsh gibson ect... great stuff.

wow those standard travel arms on the 450r are sick. does rp have a wb site and do you know if those are plus 2 or plus 3 standards?

Ex_Rider43

yeah he does have a website but he did not updated it since I dont know when...

you can contact him by email at richard@splashndirt.com

he offers great service for all of his products , his balljoints are simply the best out there , at the last canadian national one of the pro found out that 1 of his balljoints was loose , he got to RP's trailer and he replaced it in a couple of minutes. funny thing is that the guy had the a-arms for 2 full pro seasons !

www.rpevolution.com

and the a-arms on the 450r are LT's.
