I want to buy a new 450R, I can only find a price of $7200 out the door. I live in State College right now, but I also have a farm in the poconos. Any better deals?

I,m in arkansas. i got a special price by bargoning between dealers [haggeling] and the lowest so far is honda of russellville.
1-479-968-2233 for 5929. plus 150. plus 85. = 6164. without tax since u r in another state. don't know if that will be worth the drive though. they have 2 reds.:ermm: my price since i'm in the state with taxes is 6596.34. im waiting on a black one!!:D

i work at a dealership in ohio. we have one trx450er in stock, but we wont bring it out on the floor til we get rid of the 8 05's we have left. its red, and im not sure when they will be shipping us any black. our shop is about 35 mins from pittsburgh, so it wouldnt be too much for ya. call and talk to a salesman if you were interested. i work in parts, so im not much for helping with bike prices. If you read the cycle trader, they have 05's brand new for 4999, so 5800 is rediculous or anything close to it. Ive seen the 06's for 6100 but i aint payin that for one, ill wait and shop around , there's not that much of a markup difference whatsoever between the two, its simply because everyone just has to have one right now.

4999 is NOT out the door bud, they will nail you with prep, freight, set-up, fluids, and whatever else BS charge they can think of. Not to mention registration (tax)

definetely aware of that, you cant avoid taxes unless youre in another state, however, i'd continue to shop around until the 5300 otd was acceptable, and in many places it is. so again, check out a cycle trader and you shouldnt have a prob in achieving that. just friendly advice.

That would be crazy to get an 06 for that price.

I bought an '06 450 last Saturday from Shenandoah Honda in Winchester, Va.

I paid $6,000.00 + taxes...nothing else. I'm lying, I bought an 18 month extended warranty for $69.00. I now have a 2 yr warranty.

I dealt with Dave and the entire process was quick and painless.

I called Ridersville Cycle in Berkely Springs, WVA and there 6400 OTD on an '06 model with electric start. Another dealer 30 minutes from them was 1,000 bucks higher in price. What a mark up!!!

WTF IS WITH ALL THIS!!!!!!!

I got mine for 6800 at andrews n it made it to 7300 with fluids n putting it together then we got insurance n a 3 year warranty

I do not want to say what the final price was.

I regret it n wish i would have waited till next season though cuz i broke my leg 3 days after i got it

My buddy just paid 7100 otd in California. I do know if you have a farm and you are a farmer you can pay less sales tax.

10-10-2005, 10:43 PM
Oh and i didnt pay tax or buy a title cuz i was in Ohio

I will get a PA title eventually

I Called MontgmeryVille Cycle in MontgomeryVille PA and they are selling the 06 elec start for 6199, the kick is 5999. They are by far the best price I have seen for an 06 but they are currently out of stock and won't be getting any in for another month.

Talk to Dave

$6,000 + tax...if you are out of state, discuss your options with Dave.

I also extended my warrenty an additional 18 months for $69.00

There was no B.S.

They are very easy to work with

They also hooked me up with a good deal on an '06 TRX 90 for my son

The 90 is very fun
