lakota sport

i am looking into getting a Kawasaki lakota for my girlfriend to ride. it is a 2001 used..it will need new plastics soon and tires soon. has any one owned one of these and are they worth spending money on... i have always been a Honda guy... i don't know a whole lot about other brands out there. are they hard to get parts for? hard to work on? any info would be helpful...

I bought one for my wife. I wish I bought what I wanted to get her. She wanted the lakota and I wanted her to have the honda 250ex. The 250ex is lighter, easier to wheelie if she wants to learn. If it rolls on her she will not get to hurt compaird to the lakota. I call the lakota a mini tank. I am sure yopu get the picture. If yo have any more questions go ahead and pm me.

i personally think they blow..... look for a used 250ex, like said its alot better bike than the lakota

yeah i would go with the 250ex.
