with the newly arrived r450 the race for the best 450 is on. yamaha, honda, and now suzuki each have one. The rumor has it that ktm and polaris are going together to make one. The honda people love the honda and the yamaha love the yamaha and same goes for suzuki. it does not matter if you own or have rode one just voice your opinoin. I am now ready to hear some BS!!! which one is the best????

I'm thinking its gonna be close between Farr and Natalie next year. Both on Honda's. I think the new Suzuki is gonna give the Honda a run for it money this year. Last year the best stock form 450 was the yfz, but this year between yamaha and Honda, the 450r seems to be better in stock form. It will be interesting to see how the suzuki performs.

Well Dan Lamey Is building up Byrd a new 06 trx450r as we speak. I think that's what he'll be racing unless some huge factory deal comes up.

no they aren't, not at all actually. THe v force was a huge hit for recreational atv riders, the brute force was also huge. THey have a very nice line up and are devoloping some pretty nice recreational atv's. And really 70 percent of the people who use atvs use them for recreation.

i like all 3 or them, to me it depends on how the Zuki is gonna turn out(like if it has bad problems)

the other thing is if you can afford them...... i wouldnt be upset with any of them though;)

oh by the way i hear Kawasaki broke away from suzuki and is making there own new 450..... cant wait to see what its like..... that will be bad though, all 4 of them vs each other(if it happens)

Yamaha all the way, simply because you only haf to put 1000 in it to make it WAY fast! and them hondas only god knows how much you have to put in them to make em fast!

i was our local honda dealership today. i went to the atv section and there wsa a 06 yfz and a 06 450r side by side and man was the 450r nicer then the yfz. the suspension was a little more stiff but that can be adjusted. the yfz feels like your sitting on the handle bars. much like a dirt bike. when it comes to being comfortable it is your own personal opion but if i want something that feels like a dirt bike then i will get a dirt bike:ermm:

i love the feel of the yfz, its perfect, just like a dirtbike, its nice and skinny and sleek the seat is almost flat which makes moving around awesome, as well as the nice hard seat, its a race setup not a trail riding setupt, dont bother with one if ur expecting comfort and what not, its there to get the job done most guys who have been racing for years have trouble adapting because it suits a diff riding style than most of the guys have
