I did some major touch up using PJ1 and it does match pretty well. I topped it with clear coat as well.

What I wonder is how good it grips to the frame. Do you need to sand the frame, prime, then spray it or do you just spray it?

when psinting anything you need to atleast scuff the surface, then wipe it down with rubbing alcohol or pre-clean before even attemting to paint. If not its more prone to chiping, flakin etc. On a quad frame I would suggest pressure washing before I did anything, scuffin the old paint, put 2 or 3 coats of primer, paint, then 4 or 5 coats of clear. I work in auto bodyshop.

Yea you have to make sure the paint can bite into the surface that is why you scuff it. I never knew of this frame paint. IM either gonna have it powdercoated or painted at the autobody shop i work at.
