What can I do to beat a yfz 450?

What can I do to beat a yfaz 450 with a pipe and air filter, my mods are in my sig. I dont really want the 440 bcuz i heard they were not very reliable,a nd i can get the same performance as the 426 kit. Please need help, my buddy jsut bought one and need to beat him so he cant talk $h!t anymore.

Drain his gas
Pull his spark plug cap
Just as you both take off reach over and hit his kill switch

No I was being serious. Maybe if you put a turbo kit on it and did nitrous, but then you would only beat him in a straight line. Other wise sell your quad and buy a 450.

You would have to have one really worked 400ex to beat a piped YFZ in a straight line. I suppose if you guys were racing for like a mile you could change your gearing to beat him in the end, but just remember no matter what you do if he does the same thing hes going to beat you.

There's a guy around here that goes to the local drag races with a 400ex and it smokes any 450 it ever raced. YFZ with pipe, cam mod, piston. TRX with cam, pipe, piston, FCR, porting. Also seen it beat a KTM 525 quad. The guys says its a 440 and it's tuned very well. No turbo or nitros. Runs on VP C12

It sounds mean as hell.

buy a je 13 to 1 coated piston and a webcam for top end have the head ported and oversize valves installed then convert to 39 mm fcr carb and youll stomp him

That and while your at it get a, hd rod and your crank lightend or stroked, or both.

But its not gonna happen unless you spend at least 2k to 3k dollars on your motor.

get a ct racing 440ex high output power package for $2400.00. you get CT 440 big bore kit, Web Cam race cam, CT Hi-Output pipe and silencer w/ spark arrestor, Keihn 41FCR carburetor, installing short valve guides, 3 Angle valve job, Hardfacing rockers, valve springs w/ titanium retainers, head re-assembly, CT head porting and gasket kit. it will bump horse power from 27.2 to the mid 40's. must run 100 octane fule or more with it though.
