all you need is a killswitch. start out in Open C and just try to finish your first race, if anybody yells at you, move over. just have fun

First step, learn to use the caps lock button. It's on the left side of the keyboard next to the "A" button and the "Shift" button. Then follow ex kid's suggestions.

Yeah mainly just try and finish the race...just look at it as a long fast trail ride, if u catch someone they'll most likely let u buy and if someone catches u just pull over and let them go...respect and finishing is all u need 2 do for the 1st few races...just dont push urself 2 far and remember just 2 have fun:D

What all do I need to be a member of to race amadistrict6? And can I join the first race I attend? And is this the best place to start. And what class do you suggest other than open C? Thanks for replying Dean

At most ama sanctioned races you can sign up for an ama card. Its $39. You can join anytime. I suggest a the C class or first year if they offer it.

Ok just got my skid plate and kill switch installed. When is the next race? is it a good idea to try and race one this year and then race everyone next year? Or just wait till next year and start? Thanks Dean

Have another question. Do you need to make stops for fuel? Or can you make the whole race on a tank of fuel? Thanks Dean

RaptorRacer45
10-16-2005, 01:16 PM
Depends on the Tracks Condition, size of fuel cell, and legnth of the track....i can usually make it on 1 tank but i have a 3.2 gallon tank....my friend w\ a 2.8 usually has 2 make atleast 1 stop and tops off....theres plenty of conditions that can effect fuel consumption

I don't know about the rules for Flying Dutchmen in particular but most rules just state that you need over the ankle boots.
