I had the banshee front and a 250r rear on mine, thats what all the kiddies did when i had mine ha. The 250r rear raises the ride height but it works a ton better and its adjustable. As for the banshee fronts, dont get them, they make ur front end all wobbly since it over extendes the arms.

400ex rear wont work with piggyback rezzie. You can use an 86 250R w/ remote rezzie or an 01 raptor w/ remote rezzie. Also double check on those dates but I think those are right.

400ex does bolt up, you have to make a new spacer for the top mount, drill out the lower mount, and shorten your airbox snorkel.

87-89 trx250r you have to grind alittle off the tope mount and make a spacer for the lower mount.

Do not get a 86 or lower trx250r shock, because the rezzie hose is too short and will not reach anywhere to tie down too

01 Raptor shock wont work on a blaster only on a 300ex

Your best bet is the 400ex shock.

This is a terrible idea. Yfz shocks are to long. Bolting them on will cause terrible stress on the ball joints, and most likely will cause them to break

how about a blaster with +3" +1" a-arms? would the yfz shocks work better with that setup?? a friend of mine has that a-arm setup with raptor front shocks, but they bottom out like crazzzzzzzy. maybe those shocks are shot though. but hmmmm the yfz shocks might just work eh?

that setup wouldnt change the shock location at all. therefore the extra length of the YFZ shocks would stull stress your ball joints. your friends raptor shocks bottom out all the time because they're not built to run +3 arms, the longer arms increase the leverage on the shocks, making them bottom more easily. you need to find a shock that is close in overall length to your blasted shock. your still going to be dealing with different shock angles and such. but i would think having a similar length is most important. if all else fails you can always get a set of works without ressies for fairly cheap.
