I was thinking about getting this magazine, but then I heard you only get 1 issue every two months. Is this true?..

Thats kind of a bummer:ermm:

I'm not sure how the subscription works. I bought the first issue a month or two ago, and it is fairly decent. It featured a huge flip out poster...of a chick and a YFZ:devil:

no, its QUAD magazine, from the makers of transworld motocross, its really an amateur mag in my oppinion, the articles dont go into enough depth, and sometimes the articles are useless, like how to improve performance "buy a pipe" or "rejet"... yah thanks for the help, now how about what kind of pipe, and how do i jet correctly?

you get my point

Well most mags start with only 6 issues and eventually go to 12. But so far its a great mag.

I have a subscription... It has really good pictures and graphics but the arcticles are not worth anything. Well they do have some good articles about stories from there trip somewhere. they had one about baja and alaska.

So are the articles worth something or not? You left it in kind of a grey area.

And how did you you feel about the issue of Dirt Wheels with a quad review by Hall & Oates? Was that a good read?

Sorry what I ment to say was that the how to articles are not very good they are to general unless you don't know very much about quads. But they have good articles about trips.

I don't get dirt wheels anymore they turned into a catalog so i refuse to pay for it.

Why would someone expect a NEW magazine NOT to be GOOD?
That doens't make sense.... It's actually harder to keep an OLD magazine good and fresh, that is constantly improving for the better...
