I just bought 01 400ex from my friend it had a busted real axle carrier, and I just ordered a rad tapered carrier for it. And im trying to get the engine running fine by the time the part gets to my house.
But the quad does not Idle and also at low throttle it makes sort of a hicupping sound.
I just changed the spark plug and gapped it to the proper size. I also changed the oil and the oil filter, and I drained the old gas out of the tank (which was in there for months). And I filled up the gas tank with 93 octane.
