Will 05 Nerfbars Fit 06

want to order nerfbars for 06 when it gets here. Any one with suggestions would be great. I will be riding in the woods alot, don't need to bend anything.


PS; If anyone would like to run there 4wheeler at a dragsrip and live near or around southwestern ontario let me know.
Its 20 bucks and run as many times as you want, attlest till 10 oclock. I run my crf 450 down and ran 13.09 seconds at 96 miles an hour. I will run the trx when I get it and is broken in. And will let you know how I do.

not sure on that one..I know the 04/05 case savers won't. I'll find out about the nerfs really soon and post.

I got my AC standard nerf bars to fit along with my IMS pegs, i took a lot of straining but it all lined up and fit :D

LSR axles and anti-fades off 04/05 will fit too. My Laker Custom plastics and QuadTech hood all fit too.....

I have an '06

I ordered my nerfbars from Blingstar...they said the nerfs will work on an '06

PRM would / could not sell me a bottom skid or swingarm skid. They didn't know if it would work.

My friend ( has an '05 450 ) stood his quad up next to mine, we measured the two bottom skid bolts ( that go into the frame ) from center to center and they were the same...

The same friend took his stock swingarm skid off a shelf, took mine off my bike then put his on my bike...

I'm not saying they will fit...but I may order mine today.

BTW, I'm very new to quads...I took a 250ex to Tower City two weeks ago then bought the new 450 when they became available.

I am a Honda man...but I gave serious thought to purchasing a new Raptor.

Nerfs will work you,If you have to bolt directly to motor mount its best ya trim the spacer so there is not as much strain on bolt and nerf.

All nerfs that use a seperate tube will work.

Engine Skid plates I belive will line up but the Engine and tran drain holes are obviously not going to line.

Swinger arm skid will bolt up

Rear grab bar WILL NOT swap from early 450rs. The muffler mount is incorparated into the 06 grab bar>

thank you guys for the time. I think iwill just wait till the 06 aftermarket book comes out. Just to make sure they fit properly!!!!!,don't have money to burn.

Pro Armor stuff bolts right up. Plenty of room on the swingarm skid for aftermarket link as well. Engine skid needs a new hole cutout for the drain plug.
