will 400ex a-arms fit on 250r

if 400ex ones will fit what does it take to make them work the right way ?

They will if you change the bushings. The TRX250 frame mount width is 2.050" and the 400EX is 1.732". Other then that they should work fine.

are the 400 a arms wider than the 250? just wondering what the advantage of switching would be

The 400's are about 1/4 narrower at the frame mount.You can just make 1/8" spacers for each side and use the 400 bushings.

BTW,Rockman,the arms are basically identical,just you can find aftermarket 400 arms easier and usually cheaper than the R arms.Alot of people use them on Rs with the spacers because they are easier to get.
