when i try to turn over my raptor there is to much compression then when i take the plug off it turns over perfectly wat could be the problem

Your Valves aren't opening enough to allow the air out most likely. Adjust your valves and see where that takes you.

i did it with the cylinder head off

You Adjusted your valves with the head off??

If yes then make sure ur timing is correct..

ok this is wat i did took apart engine built everything again then adjusted valves try to start raptor turns over a few times then it gets harder to turn over got to keep hitting start botton then i took the plug out turns over easily but then if i put the plug in it turns a few times then after that i have to use forceto turn it over

yep prob ur timeing or ur messes up ur cam becuse rap cams have a auto decomp thing in them it only starts working when its low rps (very low)

put a brand new 1 in it and how could the timming be messed up i havent tampered with it?

... ur timeing could slip .. very small chace of that happening but ... it might be it :)

if ur motor turns over then u didnt drop a valve, but .. idk i would have to take a look in ur head ... sry if i cant help u

1 other thing could it be the compression release on the cam?

... are u talking about ... like the auto decomp for starts? ... idk the proper turm for that

yes it could be that ... but i think if that doesnt work, u can prob push ur quad down a hill and pop in it to 3rd and it should start , or have a friend pull u.

i tried something like that i pushed it as hard as i could and jumped on going down a paved road put it in 4th and let go of the clutch the back tires locked up
