400ex carb in a 300ex

hey i was wondering if i would gain anything if i put a stock 400ex carb in a 300ex because it is bigger. i put a edlebrock carb in my 400ex and was just wondering if i would gain anything by putting the old carb in my 300ex. thanx for ur help

yeah you can get better performance just as you have doen to your 400ex. If you have any mods to the 300 it will really compliment the bigger carb. ie-high compression, cam, pipe.

yes, I have one on mine, and it is a very good power increase. Almost as much as the pipe gave it. I used the stock air boot too. If you have any q's ask away.

since u can use a carb from a 400ex would you be able to use the edlebrock carb for a 400ex on a 300ex? because i like that no jet thing
if so how much are the edlebrocks for a 400 because i think that would be pretty trick

SHOULD go those Edelbrocks are like 400 bucks though. Used 400 carbs are cheap.
