i have a ballence slip on and a k&n wat is the main jet i need to put in an were does the needle need to be please help and i live in sc so im not far above sea level.

with just a slip on and filter(no airbox mods) you can probably leave it alone. run it for a few and check the plug.

not at all, go up to about a 165 main with no box lid. Try that and do a plug check.

Notice I threw the "no airbox mods" in there. If you remove the lid then you obviously have to rejet. A slip on and filter alone will not mean you have to start screwin with the carb, people are too quick to start trying to fix something that isn't broke. :confused:

ok dude feel free to glaze over you cylinder and completely f up ur bike if you think its alright to run a pipe without rejeting

Hi,
I have just installed a kit on my ex ( on my bike i have a slip on, knn air filter and no lid on the box) i put the new dynojet pin in with the E clip 3 notches down, and a 170 main jet. screw the mixture screw in till it seats then turn back out 3.5 turns. I am on sea level and my bike rocks........have fun......
