Alright, so I work at Dunkin Donuts. Today I was taking out the trash to the dumpster, and lying right next to the dumpster is a perfect condition carbonfiber streetbike exhaust. So I naturally told no one, and made myself the last one to leave. When everyone was gone, I pulled my truck up next to the dumpster and threw it in the bed. Any idea how much its worth? Theres no labels on it, and I have no idea what model its for. Oh yea, and its just the silencer.

i've seen a couple of those carbon fiber ones look trick,i see alot of these Akrapovic pipes around here though

its either a yoshi,akrapovic or a factory type carbon fiber that yamaha makes. it wont be much value cause no1 will buy it because you dont know what bike its for post a pic so some1 may be abloe to identify it for u. i know a yoshi has tons of lil things on it with the yosh symbol.

ebay it, unless it will fit on mine:D is it a bolt on or a slip on? bolt on you bolt on, slip on you have to cut the exhaust and clamp it on...

Take it your a couple of your local dealers, mabey they can figure out what it's for by comparing to to bikes on the showroom floor, or in the product catalouges.

Alright, I looked it over and it says Yamaha-something, and then something about "this is a Yamaha-motor aptroved spark arrestor" or something on the endcap, so Im guessing its a GYT-R carbon fiber exhaust. Im guessing its a bolt on because it has like a ring around the end that connects to the header and it has like a bolt whole thing, idk. Right now Im thinking either R1 or R6 GYT-R. Any ideas on a price? I dont think it has any scratches on it, and all the aluminum and carbon fiber looks great.

Free cycle trader then? Other then posting it for sale on sights like this one. I would not suggest the local paper, because it could be stolen/and dumped merchandise. Snap a pic and post it.

More than likely it came off a stolen bike, and who ever has the bike swapped pipes to change the look. Then dumped the pipe in a dumpster in an alley somewhere.

Well here ya go guys, tell me what you think shes worth and what kind of a bike shes for. Right now my guess is R6. Its a cryin' shame its not for a YFZ, thats for sure. :p

Hmm...I must be too honest...or paranoid one of the two.

I'd bring it to the po-po...maybe you could get a reward from who-ever got their **** nabbed. I'd be nervous about selling it...anyone could question where you got it. Then accuse you of grand theft, not somewhere I'd want to be.

it is a slip on, regular mount not a high mount, but there is no good way to find out what it is for unless you have a part number....

If I didnt pick it up it would have ended up in the dump the next day, so im not too worried about the popo.

sorry, but 350 will not happen... can you tell if it is used? should have some carbon in it if it is.

Put it on ur quad:D , but i dout u will get anywhere with it, doesn't crouch rockets have like 2 or 4 of those same pipes, i don't know much bout them and dont really care, but if i had one i'd want all of them, and it is proly hurt or something, otherwise y would someone put a 350 dollar pipe in the trash, not me a punk but it's the truth, u'll be lucky to get anything out of it, i'd modify it to fit something , and then maybe sell it once u get tired of looking at it. like a pit bit or something haha

It says Yamaha 4XV on the endcap, but I cant find any other markings on the entire thing.

i work for waste management, theres prolly nothing wrong with it, somebody just didnt want it to poke a hole in their trash bag or something. the stuff we find in the trash would blow your mind.

A 4XV is A Verison of The R1....dude....You gotta money maker there. The Pipe Is just a Standard Carbon Pipe thought...but...you can proberly get 300 out of it

dude it is a stock pipe that is why some one throught it out! stock sucks just look on here and see how many people run stock pipes! and just think of how may people trought out there stock pipes!
