I am thinking about getting a cam for my 400ex soon for some more power, and I have heard you should get a piston also when you get a cam, for more of an increase. If I do get a piston I want to get a 10.8:1 so I can run 93 pump gas, but I dont know too much about installing a piston or how hard it would be. Will a JE 10.8:1 do much with a cam, over of a stock piston? I heard it revvs faster, but will it give a good increase over a stock piston being only a 10.8:1?

thx

ye cam and piston, your engine will be a whole new beast,it shouldnt be that hard

Its just a process of removing some c'clips and rings,i would think the rings would be the most difficult part of a piston install
