Is there anything else that needs to be replaced when doing the valves on a 400ex? I have new seals already, but besides the valves themselves what is needed?

if you want to go all out get rings and a web or hot cam and harden rockers

This isn't a rebuild it's simply replacing the valves. If I want to go all out I just ride my YFZ.

dont use hardened rockers on a hotcam.

Hardened rockers are designed for use with billet cams, or hard weld cams, hotcams are a drop in cam, you will actually wear grooves in the cam by using hardened rockers.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO REPLACE WILL THE VALVES? I'm not doing a rebuild, I'm not looking for more performance, I simply want my 400ex running again in order to do this I need to replace the valves that are leaking. NO cams, NO high compression pistons, NO big bores.

Hardened rockers are used with hard welded cams, Hotcams are a billet cam and do not use hardened rockers.

as for replacing your valves make sure the valve guides are not worn make to sure and have the new valves and seats ground to match aka valve job.
