Anyone ever read Beowulf??? Need help with it!

Okay,

Well I have to do this big report on Beowulf for college and I need some help getting a few questions down about Beowulf before I start my report.

Has anyone read this and can help me out??

Here are a few question I need.

1) Who is Hrothgar?

2) Who is Wiglaf?

3) The poem beowulf begins with the funeral of a great warrior. Who is it?

4) How long does the war between Grendel and the Danes last?

5) What were Beowulf's final words?

I know these are very specific questions and it will be a long shot finding someone on here who knows them, but i figured I would post this up anyway. You never know.

if i remember correctly, Hrothgar is the King....but that was like 3 years ago when i read it. check out www.sparknotes.com and see if you can find some help there.

I read it last year, my senior year in high school, it was a whole class assignment

but i slept threw english every day that year, so i can't help you much

but i think his last words were somethin like, I'm always alive, or somethin like that

Hrothgar is the king in trouble

Wiglaf is Beowulf young follower that was with him in the end when he died, he was more loyal than any other follower and was Beowulfs successor

dont remember who the warrior was but he was suppose to be better than Beowulf i think

no clue how long war lasts

his last words were to tell Wiglaf to take care of his people or something along those lines, he also said to make the cave of dragon his cave or shrine thing or something like that

didn't this have the lighthouse and they made that a shrine and noone went in it untill Beowulf did?

Hrothgar is the king of the land Beowulf travels to.

Bewulfs final words are him telling wiglaf to get all of the gold out of the dragons tomb.

go buy the Cliff notes for it, it sums it up pretty good. Although most teachers won't test on much of the information that is found in cliff notes they will help with some of the facts
