stock 400 ex- now what to buy

I just got a stock 2002 400 ex, its too slow.. For starters whatis the best exhast to get. What else should I do to make this beast faster (midrange mostly) with out spending a fortune..

HMF full, Jet kit and air filter.

hotcams stage 1 <opens er right up and rev limiter i would go with hmf bill balance pro sounds good works even better

hotcams will open it right up and you could get a rev limiter and for exhuast i recomend Hmf bill balance pro its a good pipe i posted once aready but i dunno what happen nothing showed up besides hotcams

Get the K&N air filter, i like it alot better than the uni, get some bigeer rear tires too, the 22's make it a little bit faster, you can also get a 16 tooth srpoket, it makes you get a awesome draft behind people while racing, it kinda makes you faster.

well if u dont plan on boring your engine then get a degree key for $20 and get 2 more hp. cheapest power u can get.

u can modify the stock muffler for more power too till u get a new won.

jest make the whole in the muffler 2 inches wide all the way through and stick a 2 inch holow pipe in it and keep it their and itll be as good as a slip on. i would be better than a slip on cuz the pipe that goes in it. except it would be a heavy muffler
