I have a 2002 400EX that is completely stock. I was wondering if I would beat a Blaster that has a full Pro Circuit exhaust system.

Blasters can't hang once the machines are topped out. It will have avery hard time keeping up with you under accell also.

due wtf people thinking blasters are fast is pissing me off!! idk if they think they are like a 250r since they r a 2 stroke and are a small bore but they are SLOW!!!!!!! you would own all over him. period. no chance for him.

my friend had a blaster, ported and polished, toomey full system, bigger tires in the back, top end all rebuilt, reeds, and some more mods, and could keep right up with me in a draft and copuld go right beside me, now dont diss blasters, they are fun small quads and could be fast if you put in enough money to get them to go fast

i forgot to say that was before i got all of the things in my sig, my 400 was completely stock when he raced me

blasters can be very fast! stok the suck because they are so conservative! Put a big bore on there and whatch it fly!

no comparison. a kid up the street has a 240 kit, FMF fatty, flatslide carb, boysen reeds, pod filter. i walked all over him from start to finish. it was quick on top, but still had no chance up against even a piped 400

i have both, except my blaster has fmf and a k&n. My blaster will keep up with my 400 through 2nd, maybe early 3rd, but the 400 will pull away very quickly.

i also own both of these quads the blaster has a dmc full system and a k&n filter and keeps up with my 400 prety good

a stock 400ex would smoke a blaster with just full pro circut pipes on it. I used to own a blaster with just fmf on it and got smoked by one. To make one fast you need to throw about 10000 dollars into it but they break VERY often. beleve me.

I would think he has no chance at all. A buddy of mine has a Blaster, and it was slow as heck. This was STOCK 400ex vs STOCK Blaster. There was absolutly no compeition. But bench racing accomplishes nothing, go out there and race and let us know how it goes.

at least your honest, but yea blasters can be made fast, you tend to get more hourse power from 2 strokes then you will from 4 strokes no matter what you do cc for cc. The 400 though is a better handleing maching, and deff more reliable, blasters are good at drag racing!

Me and my brother race all the time, 1-3 gear hes right beside me, then I walk away from him. His Blaster is pretty fast, hes made believers out of haters. On the trails or track, Ill just keep pulling away, he doesnt have the low end power that I do to blast out of stuff. A better comparision would be stock for stock a 300EX and a Blaster, I owned a 02 300EX, it was a turd next to his MODIFIED blaster. Been so long I cant remember what it was like stock??

I had a blaster with a Toomey pipe UNI airfilter perfect jetting and I came pretty much right close to my brother on his old stock 400ex and he is a better rider than me
