86 Honda 250r ***Currently under rebuild*** Paul turner race pipe, DG Silencer, K&N filter, bored 100 w/ Weisco pro-lite, 38mm Air Striker, port&polished, polished cylinder/side covers/ etc.

who ported your cylinder. you can change head gasket or mill the head, go to a powervalve cylinder if you race mx or want good overall power. tell us your budget and what you wish to acomplish ie dragracing, mx, xc, etc. and no cam ina two stroke::huh

well a friend of mine(works at a yama dealership) got some maps and did it for me said it was mid range. i want something that is still trail rideable but hauls *** when i want it to. i mean i don't want to be completely left in the dust. as for budget about 800 for right now so motor is out of the question. Eventually... i want a ESR 370 powervalve. i'm savin up for it

A 370 PV is going to cost well over $2000.00
370 PV top end $1599.00
Cases Machined $75.00
Your Crank Stroked $325.00
Spacer Plate $ 45.00
Stud kit $ ???
Transmission inspected and replace second gear that blows up all the time. Your going to need CR ignition to make the 370 rev $499.00. Possibly a clutch upgrade. Labor to take apart motor and reassemble.

Your looking at $2044 without shipping and CR ignition and hopefully nothing wrong with transmission. I just figure I give you an idea around what it is going to cost. I wanted a 330 pv and spent way more than I really wanted to.

What kind of riding are you doing? The non power valve cylinders are $599 cheaper I think. A 310 doesnt need any case machining or a 330 bolt on. The 330 Power valve that I have is a smooth power band. Great for trail riding and GNCC. Its your money and your choice. Its all about how fast you want to go and how much money do you have.

here's another question for ya, my brother-in-law (to be), has a trinity stage 4 big bore. we want to know if a cool head will fit on it or do you have to get a special one or what. a friend of mine found some at his shop and he'll sell them cheap. i know i'm gonna put one on mine.

What do you consider big bore? Stock cylinder resleaved 295 cc
I think you need a special cut dome for the 295cc stock cylinder. If its a Pro X cylinder than a standard cool head wont work bolt pattern is different. I have a head by RK tek. He uses o-rings instead of head gaskets. You can give him a call and talk to him. His name is Kelsey. He does all kinds of cylinder heads for ATV's and Snow moblies.
