big bore noise

i have a 440 big bore kit, and a stage 2 cam. when i got it it had a loud slapping noise. i replaced the timing chain with a crf450 timing chain and adjusted the valves. it quieted it down a lot, but it still has some noise in the upper end. does anyone have any suggestions.

it might be the cam ive heard that sometimes they tick



go to your local honda shop and they might be able to figure it out

go to your local honda shop and they might be able to figure it out I jusr mentioend this in another thread, there was some defective Cams at one time, I had one ,they replaced mine , unfortunaly the only way to know what needs fixed is to tear it down and inspect it. There was some good pics, including some I posted in a topic on Cams from Last year .
