Will Banshee shocks bolt up to 400ex?

I want to lower my quad for flat track with out using a lowering kit. I have heard that Banshee shocks will bolt up to a 400ex, has anyone tried it?

No, the upper mount on 400ex shocks is too narrow for the banshee shocks. You can use 300ex shocks to lower it!

How much shorter is the 300ex shock than the 400ex? I am wanting to drop about 2" in the front. Does the 250x have the same shock? :confused:

You have to buy a mount relocating kit. But after that, yes.
