alright, i have a jenson cd player that is about a year old in my 89 s-10 and it will play burnt cd's that was burnt from a year or two ago but wont play newly burnt cd's. it will play the first song and then just play some songs every so often. what is wrong? do cd players this old just not play burnt cd's?

Are the burnt cd's all the same brand?My Clarion wouldn't play a certain brand (I forget which brand though) but my Pioneer would play em.:confused:

older cd player usually don't play all burnt cds, the new ones are designed to... you can try platinum CDRS, they are higher glare and usually the older player will read but the cds are expensive.
