It comes with everything to bolt on like studs, spacer plate, 2 domes billet head polished color. Set up as a 330 Bolt on with 87-89 long rod bottom end. It has been reported by K&T performance $250 worth. It is on its second bore. 76.5mm. It can go bigger but the cases need to be machined for the big bore to go next size over bore. I bought it with TRX9 porting but I sent it off to get reported for more power.$1300 obo

I would like to get around $1300. I just spent $377.33 for topend and machine work and new pv. I know you know what they cost $1599. I figured I got about $2000 in it or more and it comes with stuff that I didnt get when I bought it from ESR. Like spacer plate, studs & good porting. LOL This thing has power all around and pulls top better after getting it ported by K&T. I went to a non power valve topend for drag racing.

You think that the non PV works better for drag racing? I have an esr 330 stroker @350cc and a buddy of mine has a 340PV and our set ups are very similar. I think that PV provides a smoother transition the the powerband so you do not break loose your tires as easy but i may be wrong. what are your reasons for getting a non PV and why is it better for dragging. Thanks

The PV restricts the height of the exhaust porting. Raised exhaust port timing gives more topend for drag racing. I have the non power valve motor and it pulls so much more on top there is no comparision between the two.

Someone has to want this topend. It makes great power from the bottom to the top. The power is so smooth. I had it Dynoed last year before I changed topends. It was on a car dyno.

During that dyno run were you using the knobby type tires, or was that on the smoother tt type tires?

How long before you are gonna put it on your other motor? I just bought a spare and I tempted to buy it but I have not gotten the other motor yet to see what kind of condition it is in. The motor i am getting has the top end off of it and it needs to be honed but i am not sure what bore it is on so if it is on its last bore there is a good chance i would get yours. My spare should be in in the next week. It is up to you what you want to do. let me know

Thanks

will this top end fit on a stock 86 bottom end. what kind of porting do you have. drag? mx? tt?

It needs to be a long rod motor 87-89 length rod on the crank. I sent my crank out and got a long rod put on to my 86 crank. It has TRX9 porting (all around) with a little more clean up on ports. The cylinder has more texture in them unlike ESR's porting. I sent it off to get more power without loosing bottom end. K&T Performance did exactly that. Pulls from the bottom to the top. I guess because of the power valve it doesnt loose any bottom end at all.

Heres a picture of intake side you can slightly see texture in the porting. The pictures dont do it justice.
