I have the SE version of Pinnacle and it sucks. It's a decent program but I don't want to shell out another $50 for the upgrades it should already come with. Is there anywhere I can downlaod the standard version or are there any free video programs that will transfer into Pinnacle? Making a racing DVD for our Harescramble season.

i used to have that version of pinnical, trust me even though it seems like you got ripped off by not geting all of those extras you'd be surprised by what you can do with that one, once you get to know the program better you can make some kick arse vids. although i did asume that you are new to video editing, if i assumed wrong, you may want to download a trial version of adobe. but i would not howerver recomend adobe if you are a beginer, it is very technical and not very user friendly

I'm somewhat new to editing. There is a lot of features in Pinnacle but the simple ones are what it is missing IE, ability to speed up and slow down the video is the main one I need. I can do it in Microsoft movie maker but can't figure out how to get that into a format recognizable for Pinnacle.
