Only question i got about my motor work, when you get the vavle clearnce set up is thier any need to check it for a while? like on a 400ex we would run it for a tank or two adn recheck valve clear, but on the shim adn bucket i dont think i would chagne, so if you get it right the first time is thier any need to tear it down and check after a few hours of riding?

the only way the clearance will change is if the valve faces wear, this will cause the valves to get tighter. They don't need check as often as a 400ex valve style adjustment

its not just going to up and run like crap. it will be slow abuse of your parts which leads to hard starting and expensive parts repalcement, when simple maintenince would have saved you alot of money.
