Does anybody know the color combination for the TRX TPS sensor hookup to the CRF wiring harness? I want to make sure I have it right because I am racing in the national TT this weekend. Thanks a million.

I don't have that connector on TPS Sensor, I have a flat 3 wire connector, so I robbed the flat connector off my TRX harness to connect. I just don't know if I have the wiring right. I really need to know what color CRF wire goes with which TRX TPS wire What will happen if I have the wires connected wrong?

Connect it wrong and it will have a flat spot on the bottom.

If you got the kit from us, it came with the black connector shown.

You could back the colors out with the CRF harness and this picture.

IT iis not idling worth a crap. It got cold today here, and I can't figure out wether that is the culprit or not. It was fine on Sunday when it was 90 degrees outside. It is 60 now. I already took the connector off, so I can't back out how they go. The CRF service manual is much mor vague on the connections than the TRX service manual. The TRX manual tells you which is the 5V ref, the Ground, and the Pos leads. Thanks again.

The outside temperature has nothing to do with it. We run them from hot to frozen with no problems.

I am referring to the jetting rather than the ignition.

Does a poor idling condition sound like I have it hooked up wrong?

It should idle ok without the TPS. Where did you get the kit? It should have included the conn ector shown in the picture.

Honda of Stillwater. JH racing did the machine work. I work in the Marine Industry, and we have connectors that are just like the ones on the wiring harness, so I new how to pull the pins out and put them in the right connector. The kit did not come with a different tps connector for the tps sensor.

There should be enough information here to get it figured out for any combination of connectors you may have
