the hybrid banshee loks sweet and all, but the beanshee's strong point was the motor, it should have been something like a banshee motor in an R frame

It rides excellent! YZ motor took approx. 15-20 lbs of the front. I have had built Banshee motors in it before, and on an MX track, they just don't compare to the YZ motor!!(sorry Banshee guys, go easy on me!!) I am all excited now, going to the Dyno tomorrow to check how much HP I don't have!!!

Here's what is on it now: Burgard +2+1 a arms, Leagers std length swingarm, Elka dual rate fronts, elka dual rate rear...
Going to change it all over the winter, so I am not sure what's going on next...I am trying to find someone to build a few custom swingarms for this. The swinger was the hardest part of the change over.

Im thinking about doing a hydrid to my 400ex. The problem is that Im not sure which motor to use. I know I would use a CRF 450 or a YZ426 motor. I hear that East Coast ATV sells a kit that is used for the 450 motor. If someone could please tell me every thing I need and things I need to do to my frame. And what would the total cost be around?
Thanks

motor is stock, just the exhaust.
i really dont want to say that i can eat up most trx's and yfz's cause that may start a bunch of trouble.lets just say i can eat up most trx's and yfz's.......

Had to cut about a 3.25(?) section out of the pivot tube, and weld a new support just in back of the pivot.

Dyno today was dissapointing....only 40.10 hp and only 27 torque. :( Oh well, after this winter build up, it should be higher.

From what I have read before, the YZ is a much more simple swap compared to the CRF with the same amount of power.

Cool. Does anyone know around how much a hybrid would cost around? I would sell the motor already in my 400, mods in my sig. How much would I be able to possibly get for my motor?

I wouldn't say that, with the yzf you need to find room for an oil tank along with the radiator. Unless you go with the kit that eliminates the oil tank, (wet or dry sump I get them confused).
