Well I barrell rolled my quad in 3rd gear on a tar n chip road about 2 weeks ago...now i guess im start repairing the damage.Already sent the pipe back to HMF to get a new end cap and header inlet installed. That cost me $85 including shipping both ways.I was able to bend my air scoops from tinner back straight.Cant even tell they were bent.I snapped all four bolts in the bumper but the pro armor survived.

As you can see i killed one of my front rims.So i did the only logical thing........Ordered 4 brand new ITP T-9 pro series.10x5 with the wider 2+3 offset for the front, and 9x9 with the 3+6 offset for the rear. Also got a set of 20-11-9 Holeshot HD's for the rear. The stockers were gettin bald anyways.
Now all I need to do is fix the subframe........Any ideas????

As you can see in the 2nd picture of the subframe its a lil tweeked so I dunno if welding some brackets and bolting a 250r or 450r grab bar is gonna work...What do you think???
Also, what would be a good front tire to go with the new holeshot HD's.Riding mostly trails, small jumps and open feilds???sorry for the long post....just lookin for some opinions...Thanks alot

Razr2 Fronts are the best front tire on the market right now..

I would go HD's all the way around. As far as the subframe I would try to bend it back in place then Put a 250r Grabbar on it . I have one installed on mine. If you can't bend it back the get one off ebay.

A 450 R grab bar will work, I just done the Sub mod on mine and bought a Blingstar MX grab bar from a 450r and it fits..

My subframe was bent in a crash too, and we just bent it back into place. It still looks a little bent but its not as bad anymore. and i would do the 250r grabbar mod.

the sub frame on a 400ex is won of its weak spots.

yea i hit a step up wrong at the track. it would have been ok but i set it on my car port to weld the mount back up and my mom came home and ran over it. now i have a r-4 the uses a core and can from a yz250f. the neck coming from the head pipe is from the pro circuit it happened to be big enought to slip over the r-4 can

I personally would rather modifiy my own than take the risk like a buddy if mine did and end up buying a used one that was bent..

well I got the subframe issue taken care of for the time being. Its not the best lookin job but aint that bad.I had a DG alloy series bumper laying around from a 200X I think. It was a scrap 3 wheeler that i came the owner of.Anyway.....I just bent what was left of mine back straight, and drilled and tapped new holes to line up with the 200X grab bar. Then just use 4 stainless bolts to put it together.Im prolly gonna re do it this winter, but for now its fine....I just wanna ride again.Should have my rims and tires this week.Thats all im waitin on...Ill post pics once everything is back together.
