How reliable is a 300cc bore for the 300ex? I mean like actually making a 300cc instead of 282, and xx300, could you post some pics of your 300ex?

i think you would be boring the bore out to .80 and would need a .80 pistion but you wouldnt notice the power i think

go here www.powroll.com and go with the prefferred kit but a 330 big bore is nice with a cam and new carb and an oil cooler

Actually as long as he went with the 11:1 comp. he would notice a pretty decent difference.

The cc's of a true 300 is 297cc.
((86mm/2)^2*3.14)*65.5mm = 296,987.48mm^3 = 296.9cc's

Add in a cam, and you're gonna be very pleased.

330's are great.. but if you want to race at all it takes you out of the sport class and puts you in with the 450r's. ;) (at least out here in MO it does).

at the gncc's the limit is 350, and the gnc youth production its 300
