400ex can be competitive!!!!!!! i raced my first race against ALL 450s that were modded to hell, and even after someone hit me. i took 15 outta 24 or something, so i had the following things going against me

400ex
first time racing
second time to the track
up against 12,000$ 450s

all in all you can still kick some arse on a 400

im just running a pretty basic 400. im getting a full race YFZ soon sooo....

renthal bars

ac nerfs
some other stuff im sure. but my motor is stock actually! i got a 3rd holeshot, till some dushce bag decided to not use the brakes in turn 1.....errr.....

my next race

~i will have

416 11:1 piston, and a Hotcam and a P and P

~winter time i will have

CRF450 motor
gusseted/ powdercoated frame
gibson / axis long travel frount end
alot of other stuff

^ if i dont get a race yfz of corse

my 400 is pretty competitive.....all the 450s at the track are running long travel suspensions, and i hit everything fine with my setup, i never bottom, and the landing are soft as can be. i think alot of it is ride tho :)

Ha those wheels are off of an 86-88 styel honda 350 4x4! I know I own an all original 86. And its on original tires and wheels!

Here ist my 400EX. It was a lot of work but now im finished to 98%. Finally i must install only the Houser Steering stem and the Tag T2 and then i finished 100%
