Yea, the dual linkage "isnt" hard to beat. it sticks down 2 inches past the skid plate.

The savior comes with the linkage. not sure about the carrier but it should. For an axis/savior set up brand new, look to spend around 2600.

I've got the PEP 8 clicks with Baldwin linkage. Is it a good setup compared to the others?

i would say walsh savior and axiz, or ars fx and axis.

If your on a budget, JH Racing will do the gt thunder rear linkage, and rearvalve respring the stock rear for $325. This setup is nice if you have the gt thunder link. Its is essentaily like combining the rear respring and revavle from C&D and the Gt Thunder set up.

It all depends on the $$$ you want to spend and your riding ability. The Walsh Savior or the Holz setup w/ Axis, Elka, or PEP.....are probably 2 of the best you can get but it will cost you! The LSR setup is suppose to be pretty nice too but it looks just the Savior/Holz set up pretty much.

If $$$ is an issue, the stock rear shock conversions that some shock gurus are doing are a great route to go also. Thats the route I chose and was very pleased.

I've ridden both setups and just in my opinion.....unless you just got $$$ to spend or you're a top A class or Pro guy, the costly rear end setups are almost a waste because you probably wont notice the difference. Thats just me though, my rear end (JH Racing rear shock mod w/ GT MX link) felt almost as good as the Holz setup I rode, at least for the $$$ I spent. Thats just me though.......and as I said, "....almost as good...."!!

Look at your budget and ability........then go from there :D

SoCalFab now makes a no-link swing arm which totaly eliminates that pogo stick feeling the honda have. They mostly make their products for desert racing but I'm sure they would work for anything else.

I use a elka link with a works ultra cross shock. you have to have it custom built of course.
hope to have the new pro g4 by thanksgiving.

I cant awnser the question unless I know what kind of riding you do. Even then I dont know about a lot of the rear ends. All I know is that I had the Elka Pro Dual link and It is now sold. Two races and it looked like it got beat by a sledge hammer. My new set up is going to be Houser w/ LT axis. Axis is a better shock over Elka in my opinion, I know nothing about PEP's so I cant say anything about them. Also for XC based on what nearly ALL the pros run, I would go with the ARS FX rear end with the Axis rear shock(I just cant afford it)

Good luck and keep in mind some people talk about what they dont know, I am sure a lot of these guys know what there talking about but some people just spit out a name because they talked about it in dirt wheels. See ya
