Yes in some aspects driving a lowered underpowered vehicle would be pointless.

However, when power enters the picture, atleast a small block is needed in a light, lowered rwd vehicle. Such as a Mustang, Camaro, etc.. Let's not forget trucks and 1500 or mini-truck(s10, Ranger) would rip.

It's the same way with quads, you either drive a 4x4 and go muddin and drive slow or you ride a sport quad.

What I want to know is did those people do that as a joke or because they liked how they looked. If they actualy did that because they thought it looked cool they need to have thier head examined.

All of those cars are in Japan. Japan has some crazy lows so these cars are made just to break the law.
