Very similar to the YZ400 engine. Has a 5 speed transmission.
I'm relisting on ebay due to a deadbeat, non-paying punk kid who bid on it and doesn't have the money!
SOLD :D
what's your reserve? very interested....and trust me i'm far from a kid...and my ebay feedback speaks for itself(dlerch)

This is a very nice engine. I've seen it in person.

Yep and that one doesn't include wiring harness, cdi, shift lever, kickstarter, hoses, cap/coil, carb boot, kill switch, hot start lever, and I'll even throw in a YFZ450 oil tank and lines.
was this in a quad before? if so do you have the pipe? if not do you have the head pipe to go with it? is a $1000 the best you'll do or are you looking for offers?

It was installed in a 1986 250R frame that I still have. I would recommend finding a 400EX frame because the rear upper shock crossmember is a PITA to route the carb to intake boot around.
The TC exhaust went on my YFZ. I do have a stock headpipe off a 2004 YFZ450 that was bolted up to this motor. It has about 3-4" of another headpipe welded on so I could get the TC exhaust to fit on the 250R frame. I would throw in the pipe too with purchase of the motor if the buyer wanted it.
PM me for more info or to make an offer.
