Ok, pretty soon i plan on buying either a raptor rear shock, or a durablue +4 adjustable axle. Should I get the shock or should I go ahead and save $100 more and get the axle? I was leaning more towards the axle but I wanted to know what you guys would do.

why is a durablue so bad? I do do some big jumps and i do some that are more of jumps over the creek so the landings arent to soft

Check out K&K ATV, they sell the LSR axles for like around $350 new. I bought mine new for like $340 on special from them. Excellent axle.

And yes, some of the Durablues have lifetime warranties, but I think that it's only for the one you bought. The replacement doesn't get any kind of warranty. Whereas, if I'm not mistaken, LSR will replace the axle if it ever breaks, doesn't matter if it's new, old, replacement, whatever. From what I've heard, LSR really stands behind their claim that the Axcalibars are "the last axle you'll ever buy".

I would get the shock first if your jumping, I got a axis rear instead of a axle and I dont regret it a bit. Durablues have whats called a limited lifetime warrenty. That means if you bend or break it they will replace it just so you have the warrenty card, dosnt matter if its 17 years old or a week old. But after you get it repaired, the next time it happens you have to pay for it. Now on a LSR or a RPM they will keep on replacing them. Im not to sure about the g-force.
