does anyone know if you remove the ignition will it cause a temp problem since the fan dosent run

Well it depends on if you are referring to the key switch as the "ignition." If you are, if you take the key switch off the fan will NOT turn on at all whether it is hot/overheating or not. This will not hurt it, it just bypasses the fan. As far as a temperature problem, in my personal experience I did have a problem with it overheating occasionaly after riding for long periods of time. I ended up putting the key switch back on a zip tying it under my hood. Keeping the fan connected and using a better coolant solved this problem. If you do remove it I would reccomend using a better coolant in your radiator such as engine ice or something along those lines. Hope this helps.

If you remove the key switch you must splice the red and black wires together. Make sure you use the black wire and not the black with a white stripe. This will make your lights, fan and carb heater work.
