Yes, and definitely yes. Do a search on this and you can find all of the information hawiianpwr and I have posted on the MSD ignition.

Be sure to type in MSD* in the search box... ;)

Let me know if any of those posts don't answer any questions you have.

I am curious to, I went with a Vortec and the ignition curve is excellent. The 416 hits that rev limit almost instantly.

Does the MSD for the 400EX fire multiple times like it does for automotive ignitions?

Its the best ignition out there! You cant even compare any other ignition out there to it.
Yeah it does have multiple spark.

I paid just under $400 back in Spring of '04. MPS Racing is where I ordered mine from. They don't normally stock the quad ignitions, but can order them for you.

They are, by far, the cheapest I found.

Hey I finally got a picture for ya. Sorry its kinda blurring but it will give you an idea of how much you can do with it

Top left is your timing 0-7 Degrees

Top left below the timing is the high speed retard ON or OFF

Top Right is your rev limit 8750- 12,500 rpms

Bottom Left is your holeshot rev limit 3000-6750 rpms

Bottom Right is your full timing rpm 2000-5750 rpms

Middle section is all of your dip switches to adjust everything

And you can adjust everything while it is running, which is pretty cool when you mess with the full timing the rpms will actually go or down depending on what you do
Hope it helps
