i need help on about everything. i need some cheap power for my stok 400ex. will i hav to rejet if i put on a kn filter wit outerwear and take off the airbox lid?? and then, how do u wheely well. i can pop it up and all, but i cant ride it very far. and just 1 more thing, how do u take off witout popin a wheely. i need fast starts cuz im about to drag wit a rival of mine. if ya cant answer all of um, please try to answer 1. i need help badly

Welcome..... the first thing change the air filter to a K&N,you wont need to rejet but you can anyways then take off the airbox lid or drill large holes as I have done. The last thing is tighten the throttle cable (located under the rubber thing to the left of the throttle)to take the slack out of it and get about 10 to 15% more throttle. Sorry, cant help you with your wheelie it will come to ya keep practicing!!!

if u take off ur air box lide, you might have to rejet. also if u want cheap power, well kinda cheap get urself a good exhaust pipe. also, what kinda quad does this "rivale of urs have??

you can beat even if you are bad. i beat polaris 500 scrambler on my 300ex.;)

You can beat them even if your horrible!! I beat a scrambler 500 h.o. with a supertrapp exhaust and air filter and correct jetting on my little 250ex. And thats slow! The only thing is I think the 400's might be quicker. Not sure on that.

Yes,,,100% positive..Your letting more air in so you have to let more gas in...it's pretty cut in dry..:square

hey the scrambler 400 is 2 wheel drive meaning it is lighter than the 500 h.o. more sporty and it is a two stroke thats why i said if you are a good rider. the only reason a lot of the scrambler 500's are heavy is because they are 4x4 and that is a lot of extra weight
although the scrambler 400 is still heavy

you should be able to beat a stock scrambler 400 anyway should'nt you? just watch out if he does mods, you wouldnt believe what a pipe and clutch does for a 400 scrambler. my dad has one and has beat every typical (pipe, cam, airfilter) 400ex hes drag raced
