Well like I said I might be getting an ex, and I decided I wanted to keep racing a few races, But I just dont want to get my bum handed to me, I race against modded raptors, z400's, yfz's 450r's and you know the type.

It has a full hmf, bars and a few lil things here and there, I plan on 416. a cam and other lil things. It will have tripple rate ohlins, 18's in the back and 20's in the front.

Think I could do decent? With my cannibal I usually placed top 5. (when i finished the races lol)

rider skill will determine how you place though!

yes. they can still be competitive. but remember the 450's will still pull u on the corners and uphills.

Well im a good B class rider and at my district i would get top 5 or 6 in the 4-stroke class. The holeshot kills me ( i was running stock 397cc) after the holeshot i would try and pass over doubles and tables where i could scrub and fly low but clear the jump

oo ya ex's can be competitive. Last week i raced, there was a bunch of YFZ's and a few 450r's. There was also 2 Z-400's. My ex only has a wiseco 416 hotcam stg 2 and a exaust and i took a 5th. Then a few weeks back i took a 4th

I think 400ex's are still competitive in mx but less than they use to be. The new 450 are lighter and more powerful. But a good rider makes up alot. Tim Farr on a blaster could still kill me evan if I was on a 450.
