Very shortly i plan on over hauling my 300ex, i was woundering if its possible to fit a 400ex rear swingarm in the 300ex i know the 400 goes through the engine and the 300 doesnt but can lonestar racing mock up brackets to suport this setup or do i have to stick with the 300 swingarm

Even if they could, you'd have to weld the tabs for the linkage to the frame, and find a linkage to work. You'd also need to figure out what to do about the alignment of the chain, since the 400EX carrier is wider than the 300EX.

So, my question would be, if you're going to buy an aftermarket swingarm why not just buy the one that's made for yours?

Stick with the 300EX swingarm.

the only reason im asking is because it runs the pro link which would allow me to run a longer shock

you can probably fine a aftermarket full rear end ( shock and swinger ) for your bike...that is made for your bike...that would work alot better...and you can get a longer shock
