After recently buying the Quadtech hood and K&K seatcover (not installed yet) I figured I would post a few pics of my 250R. When I bought the R a few years back it was completly bone stock and pretty rough shape. It had about 3-4 different colors of spraypaint and overspray on it. I completely tore it down, powdercoated the frame Honda red, the hubs chrome color, and the steering stem silvervein. Then chromed both motor cases, brake lever, kickstarter, a-arms, and swingarm. Bought new OEM plastic. K&K seat cover, and Quadtech hood. Then I tore into the motor and completely replaced both bottom and top end. I had the cylinder MX ported/polished by Sandtrix of OK. V-Force reed cage, 38 MM A/S carb, ESR head with high compression dome, ESR TRX6 pipe. SS Brakelines, ESR shifter, OMF louvre and scoops. OMF seat latch, AC propegs, DG bumper and grab bar. OMF front race rims, and Douglas .190 rear rims with Fast trekkers on f & r. A-arm, chassis, and swingarm skidplate. Works tripple rate front shocks and Ohlins complete rebuilt rear shock. Durablue +4 axle, LSR carrier and antifade nut. I also have a Burgard +1 antivibe and TAG2 fatbars I will be putting on shortly, just trying to decide if I want to get it chromed or powdercoated. I am probably forgetting a few things but a lot of time and $$ has been put into this R.

Tom are you still getting those decals made? Blue ones would look good on your R.

Good job on fixing it up, you got any pics of what it looked like before?

Thanks on the compliments,
I am debating between the blue 88 OEM style graphics that say 250R or a graphic kit that would work well with my seat cover. What do you guys think? Or should I leave it without graphics?

No Andrew, thats one thing I regret, I didn't take any before pics before restoring it, but I did remember to take pics when building it up after P/C.

I would go with the blue stock grafics.
