Weekend after sandfest pics

Here's a few pics from last weekend. I couldn't believe how much water was out there! I had to try a little hydroplaning, I was surprised it worked as well as it did.

Didn't you take a pretty nasty spill doing some hydroplaning? I was a little unsure how fast I needed to go to make it across, so I just hit it as fast as I could, and leaned way back. The last time I did it I didn't hit the water with enough speed, and I didn't think I was going to make it all the way across, that was enough for me, I called it quits!

yeah that was me, i actually ramped the berm coming out of the pond and got planted.

what gear were you hitting the water in?

I saw several quads sunk in the water at sandfest. Almost over the bars, so it was deeper than I thought.

Hey Sand Duner I saw you Hydroing that water. I was there on a YFZ with a Houser/Elka Setup, 2 other YFZ's, and a Black 450r. Looked like fun, but didn't have the nads to try it this time. Anyway, Cool Pics

back in the summer, there were several guys trying it, every other person made it. we had a knee board that we drug my nephew around on and he made it across several puddles but several he tipped it nose down too much and got real wet. some of the puddles were about 4 ft deep. wish we had a camera for that.

We pulled off a 7 person wheely on a 400 ex. Got it on video, but not digital. It was hilarious.

The rider, with a girl straddling him and facing him, one girl behind him with a guy draped across her lap between them, me standing on the nerfs right up next to the bars, holding the guy that was sitting on top of the bars, and one guy standing on the grab bar.

i will have to investigate your technique this weekend, but i will be the only rider with 6 girls at first, as they get drunk, i will see if we can do a wheelie with 6 naked girls!!
